The OSHAS 10-Hour General Industry course offers a thorough overview of all pertinent safety and health topics as they relate to the General Industry sector and is at the certificate/card level. Participants who successfully complete this course should:
- Know what OSHAS is
- what it does
- how to record injuries and illnesses during inspections
- what rights employers and employees have during inspections
- what OSHAS cites and penalises
- and more.

Understand the Employer and worker’s responsibilities regarding to health and safety and their rights

Learn about Hazards communication and controls

Understand the distinction between confined spaces and confined spaces that require a permit.

Recognize the significance of precautions and risk-reduction procedures as they relate to heat illness and stress.

Determine any potential hazards to safety in the workplaces

Reduce these hazards by using proper equipment handling techniques

Manage risks and organising your workspace properly
- or donning the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Students can take the course test after studying the course material and passing the module quizzes. The purpose of the course exam is to gauge how well the students have understood the topic. Multiple-choice questions drawn from our sizable question library make up course exams. Pattern:
- Time allowed is 2 hours and exam will be open book.

To pass the test
- you must receive a minimum score of 65%.

You can repeat the exam if you don’t pass the first time.

Exams can only be taken three (3) times in a 10-hour period by students.

Students must wait 24 hours before taking the test again after their third try. Students should reread the course material to increase their understanding during this period.

You cannot repeat the test to get a better score if you pass.

There isn’t a thorough programme exam available right now. Students must succeed on all of their course exams in order to finish the programme.
